Each year, the Saline River Watershed Alliance (SRWA) hosts an Annual Saline River Cleanup, bringing together volunteers from across the community to help preserve one of Arkansas’ most treasured waterways. This event is a vital part of our mission to keep the Saline River clean, healthy, and accessible for all to enjoy.
Our cleanup efforts focus on both the Saline River Water Trail access points and sections of the river itself. Key locations include: Moore Ford, Tony Kelly, Peeler Bend, Lyle Park, Cherry Gingles, and River Street
In addition to the annual cleanup, SRWA members and volunteers routinely maintain these access points throughout the year, ensuring they remain free of litter and safe for public use. Contact us to find out how you can help.
Annual Saline River Cleanup
“The Saline River is one of the last free-flowing rivers in Arkansas, and it’s up to us to protect it. Every volunteer makes a difference—whether you’re picking up litter, paddling to collect debris, or spreading awareness.” –
